Happy Birthdays, Gamecube and Micro

The final piece of my upload spree for now, the thing I finished last night- Gamecube and Micro's birthday picture.

Let's be honest, I totally stole Nona's style here. Their art is just so good though and I figured out how markers in SAI don't leave any weird opacity trail things and suddenly this happened. Especially GC's face, really feel like I stuck too close to Nona's toucan picture in dimensions and stuff.

Probably could have chosen better colors but colors are really hard okay, I just took them off whatever I could think of. Also, Game Boy Advance furnishings. Complete with a Game Boy Player booster seat (originally Gamecube's chair was open all the way back to fit her ponytail, but she was too short. Then I added the player and she was still too short, so closed SP chair it was). Also eating a donut. A birthday donut. A Game Boy Player-y birthday donut disc. Yeah.

Oh, yeah, and Micro too I guess. Micro's birthday was yesterday. If people cared about the Micro.

To be fair at least Micro-tan has my favorite of the GBA designs so far. Still messing with GBA, and SP is just awful still. So they're portrayed as chairs and a table. With the backlighted SPs being Micro's chair and a game cart as her booster seat (sheesh, these kids are short). Also Famicom flan because why not.

Still feel like I should've made the SP chairs more subtle like the GBA table, but at the same time they came out neat so I'll roll with it. I still feel like there's something really obvious I missed in cleaning this up, but other than the awkward perspective of their legs escaping the boundaries of their chairs/tables, I'm okay with it I suppose.

Made the furniture all in Inkscape, then disliked how it came out and drew over it in SAI to give it a more natural stiffness to it.

... I have a problem with video game console personifications, I know.
